What can make you take an interest in a story or a novel?

What rules does the library have? How long can you keep a book from the library?

Find out the theme of our lesson.

That’s right, it is “Writing summary”.

At our lesson you will speak about books and writers, meet your favourite characters, do some interesting tasks, revise grammar.

So let’s start our lesson.

Pre-writing

Revise adjectives which describe books: interesting, boring, amazing, funny, sad, amusing, exiting.

Ask learners to write words under each picture. Ask them to guess the character.

Let’s divide into two groups. The representative of each group will take the card with the name of some character. Every group describes the character not saying his/her name. But every member of a team says only one sentence. The opponents have to guess this hero.
