The lesson greeting.

Identifying the theme: students will be given piece of papers with letters behind. They must put the picture in right order to get the flag of Kazakhstan and The UK. If they do it correctly, we will get the theme of today’s lesson.

The teacher sets the lesson objectives, letting students know what to anticipate from the lesson.

Ex.2 p.74. Gist listening. Checking comprehension.

Lucy dislikes the picture because she thinks the face is a bit strange, as if a child painted it.

Ex.3 p.74. Classifying phrases. “Who said these phrases?” Role-play. Students write the key phrases into their copybooks.
