Grammar tasks for the 5th – 7th forms

Article

Before each nominal noun must stand article. if you don`t use article before noun you should know how to explain, why. Article does not be used if before noun stands possessive or demonstrative pronoun, other noun in possessive case, quantitative or negation "no"

Mentioning subject for the first time, we use before it indefinite article, mentioning subject a second time , we put before it definite article

Indefinite article can be used only with countable nouns in single form. If noun begins with vowel letter that before is inserted article an. Definite article is used both with countable nouns and with uncountable nouns.
