Activity 1 Brainstorm ideas.

Teacher informs learners that number of words important. Teacher explains the rubrics for writing. Teacher explains that after writing a short story they will swap their papers with a peer they sit together and evaluate the paper of each other. They evaluate a piece of writing filling in Peer Assessment Sheet.

Activity 2

Learners work individually. They should write 50-60 words. They look at the pictures and make up a short story in written form. They use questions writing a short story.

1. Why is it important to have holiday time together with your parents? Why do you think so?

2. Where did you go? What did you do there? Who did you meet with?

3. What is your personal opinion about such kind of a family rest?

Example: Last summer was unforgettable for me. I spent a week together with my family.

Activity 3

Learners check works of each other according to the Assessment sheet. They show the sheets to each other and try to explain pluses and minuses. Teacher monitors the process of evaluation. Teacher collects the sheets and later elicits…
