JOINTS

Joint connected bones. Joints- the area where two bones are attached to permit body parts to move;

There are three types of joints .

Fixed joint- between two bones that do not move;

For example joints in our cranium .

Immovable or fixed joints.

S е mi movable joint

Semi movable joints- joints between bones where motion is limited. For example , S е mi movable joint is joint between bones of our vertebra.

Freely movable joint

The third type of joint is

movable joint. For example,

joints in our hands or legs.

You can move your hand

freely in any direction.
