The theme of the lesson: “Nervous about exams”

The objectives: Pupil’s will be able to:

Educational: to talk on about future exams and children’s feelings before exams.

Developing: to explain Second Conditional sentences.

To develop speaking skills and listening abilities; To enrich stock of vocabulary;

Up-brining: To teach pupils’ to be more active and be responsible for their future life.

The procedure of the lesson:

I .Organization moment. Talking with the pupils on duty.

T: I think we have an interesting and important theme of the lesson today because you are the ninth graders, you are going to have your final exams soon and of course you think about your future education. Am I right? So, look at the blackboard, the theme of our lesson is “Nervous about exams”

Phonetic drill. Pupils’ best wishes each other about their future.

You all have exams and most of you get nervous before them. Your teachers will help you to prepare well for your exams and to feel more confident during them. Lots of things will help you to get better marks in your exams. Getting enough sleep, eating well and planning your time. How do you the meaning of the word “nervous” Your opinions, please.

P:When I’m late to school I’m nervous because our teachers don’t like when we are late to school. etc.

III. Discussion

Some people prefer to study and revise alone and others prefer to study with friends. Which do you prefer? Tell us why.

1.I prefer studying alone because I can concentrate more when I work alone.

2.I prefer studying with my friend. It really helps a lot. In the bus I revise everything with my friend until we reach school.

3.I can't study anything with a friend, especially with a best one, because we won't do anything... I prefer to study alone, but…
