The plan of the competition lesson

The theme: “1001 мақал”

Aims of the lesson:

1. To develop students outlooks about proverbs and tongue twisters;

2. To develop reading, speaking, listening, thinking skills of students;

3. To teach them using of proverbs and tongue-twisters their life.

Visual aids: slides, active board, pictures, posters.

The procedure of the competition

I round. Introduction (motto, name of captains and teams)

II round. Give the equivalents or meaning of proverbs in Kazakh and Russian languages.

III round. Complete the proverbs.

IV round. Give the suitable proverb to the picture.

V round. Finish the situation with a proverb.

VI round. Translate the dialogue. Find out the proverb.

The stage of the lesson

I round. Introductions (motto, name’s of captains and teams).

II round. Equivalents of the proverbs.

Teacher: Now students you will give the proverbs meaning or equivalents in Kazakh and Russian languages.
