The 1st round: Greeting and introduction.

- Good day, students and teachers. Today at the competitions lesson we`ll know what the best art is for leisure. We`ll speak about popular and demand of arts. The arts which helps us to spend a good free time. Students I want to invite the captains of the team to introduce the members of the team. The captain of the team, please: - C1: - C2:

The 3rd round: Do you know them? Abay (Ibrahim) Kunanbaev (August 10, 1845 – July 6, 1904) was great Kazakh poet, composer and philosopher. Abay`s main contribution to Kazakh culture and folklore lies in his poetry, which expresses great nationalism and grew out of Kazakh folk culture. The poetic works of Abai present the most pressing problems of the Kazakh people – social, public, moral. His verses are filled with profound philosophic meaning and civil importance and called for a struggle against oppression and ignorance. William Shakespeare (26.04.1564 - 23.04.1616) – English poet and playwright. Shakespeare was born in Stratford – upon – Avon on 23 April, 1564. Families were big in those days. William had seven brothers and sisters. But his parents weren`t poor; his father, John Shakespeare, was a successful businessman who bought and sold leather and wool. His mother was the daughter of a rich farmer. The sonnets deal with the great themes of love, friendship, death, change and immortality.
