Brainstorming:Teacher checks home task with the help of matching task. Students must match picture to words\ phrases:

Pre – reading

(W)Teacher use “Associations” method and show the picture to the students and ask their associations on three points: Travel Holiday Sightseeing. Students must give their associations in one word. Each title will have 5 words and teacher divides students into groups according to these words. 1st group – Travel. 2ndgroup – Sightseeing. 3rd group – Holiday.

The capital of Great Britain is full of popular and world-famous tourist attractions, both educational and entertaining. Most of them are located close to the river Thames, others are in different parts of London and in its suburbs. The city was founded about 2 000 years ago, so there are a lot of interesting historic and architectural sights.

Groups are given text they must read then complete the columns with Most\Least important ideas and information.
