Invent imaginary stories related to their summer holidays.

WARMING UP:

1.(W) Greeting Students, if necessary get introduced with a new Student in the class; encourage students to read Slide 2 and guess the topic of the lesson.

2.Students are introduced with lesson and learning objectives;

SINGING A SONG:

3.(P) Let students listen to the original version of a song “We are going to be friends”. In pairs Students take one part of a song (6 parts). Ask Students to read and draw a picture of written text OR ask every pair of students to select another melody (more modern /as rap etc.) and

4. to sing their part in front of the class.)

I HAVE GOT SOME GOSSIPS FOR YOU:

5.(P) Teacher puts students into new pairs and gives out pieces of small papers to fill in gossips from the pair. Students should tell their peers 2 gossips and 1 true story related to their summer holidays (any story). Students, in turn should tell the class about their written gossips. The rest of the class should guess what’s true about him/her.

CLASSROOM RULES:

6.(P,W) In pairs, students make up classroom rules on the posters for further studies and for a good behaviour in the class in pairs, students introduce them to the class. At the end students vote for the best rules to follow in the class. Teacher sticks this poster on the wall so it can remind them at the lessons.
