Task I Warm up activity. (W)

Teacher asks some every day questions and questions on the theme. Then shows some pictures with vocabulary words and questions about plants by using PPP.

By this activity learners brainstorm the theme of the lesson.

What do plants need to grow?

How many parts do the plants have?

What are they?

Where do the roots grow?

What is the function of roots?

What do the stems carry?

Where do the leaves grow?

What do the leaves make?

What do the full grown plants have?

Task II Exercise

Activity 1

Learners work in groups and complete the sentences by putting the words in the right order:

four have parts Plants.

Activity 2

(I, G) Individually, learners are given some pictures with plants. Then they produce an art using the glitter, colored papers, yarn and sparkles or beads according to their fantasy while discussing what they are doing in groups.
