Interaction pattern: T-Ss

Teacher prepares learners for Warm-up.

Teacher gives an instruction to look at the picture. They should take it in turns to use images to depict a word or phrase for other learners to guess and the teacher show the picture with professions and ask questions then learners must guess the title of theme:

What do they do?

What is the theme of our lesson?

INTRODUCTION

Lesson objectives presentation

Teacher introduces with the lesson objectives presentation on the interactive board. Then teacher tells about new theme “Professions”, also that they will learn new words and introduction of new material on the theme. They start the new theme. Students open their copybooks, write down the date and the theme.

T:- Today the theme of our lesson is “Professions”. Today we will learn new words and introduction of new material on the theme of “Professions”.

Let’s start our new theme “Professions”. Students, open your copybook, write down the date today and the new theme.

Activity 1

(W) “Triangle”strategy. DRILLING

Interaction pattern: T-Ss

Teacher introduces learners with instruction of activity and students look at the presentation on the new words. Teacher reads and students repeat, describe with short characteristics and translate these words in English, Kazakh and Russian then open their dictionary and write down new words quickly.

Teacher divides learners into two teams then gives instructions. At first teacher show the actions what and how the learners doing at these game. One team should show some action of some job. Other team must close their eyes. The teacher should say: “Freeze”. Other team should guess job and action.

E.g: A cook cooks cakes.
