Students take pieces of paper which are white but the backside are different colours ( blue, red, green). Then according to the colour they make three groups. ( Differentiation by grouping) Next the teacher shows the pictures and the learners guess who and what is it. Each group gets the name of their team according to the given answer

Each team gets worksheet and they should match pictures to the names. After checking up the task teacher asks students to predict the theme of the lesson

(G) Warm up.

Hang the poster with alphabet on the side of the board and write Music at the top. Ask students to think of words associated to the theme of Music that begin with the different letters of the alphabet. Students could work in teams and the team with the most at the end of five or ten minutes wins. You could pool all the teams’ answers to see if between the whole class you get one word for each letter.
