Method “Rain’s drops”

Teacher hangs an umbrella with drops and under each drop there is a word, learners have to give the right translation of these words in Kazakh.

Method “Brainstorming”

Teacher shows two clouds with adjectives “long” and “short”.

Learners have to guess the connection of these words to the lesson, find out the word and put the drops to the appropriate clouds.

Learners who chose white drops will be one group, blue drops will be another group. Teacher hands out an assessment sheet to each group and group’s assessment expert will assess them.

They ask questions each other in order to get more information.

After learners have to add some more words to each cloud,

generalize the words from the drops and express the main idea

Teacher explains and practice the new theme by using the method “Rotation station”

Learners will work on the different stations

The first station is “Listening station” where learners watch the video on the topic, second station “Reading station” where learners will get information, the next station is “Writing station” where first group do writing task while the second group discuss the topic on the “Speaking Station” then they change their places.

After that they go to the ‘Teacher station’ to conclude the lesson.
