I. Organization moment:

A). Greeting:

T: Good afternoon, students! How are you?

B). Conversation with on duty:

-Who is on duty today?

- Who is absent?

- What day and what date is it today?

S: Today is Tuesday, the 13thof November.

T: Thank you. Take your seat.

II. Checking up the homework

-What was your homework?

- Who is ready?

III. Explaining the new theme

-Now pupils, let’s start our lesson.

We are going to speak about learning languages.

Brainstorming questions:

Group #1: In which situation you think the more effective learning is taking place?

Group #2: Which situation you think is more enjoyable for the student involved?

Group #3: If you wanted to improve your spoken English which of the situations would you prefer?

Team work “Reading and speaking”

Read the text with “Popcorn” game

Teacher introduces with the new lesson and divides the task into three groups.

Group # 1: Translate the text;

Group # 2: Retell the text;

Group #3: Prepares questions.

Before the beginning the task they should complete “Knowledge rating scale” and then after they’ve done their work, they should write translations.
