The theme of the lesson : Life in Britain

The aims of the lesson : - to develop communicative skills and abilities using various kinds of activities and grammar material ;

to discuss about the life in different countries ;

to enlarge pupils’ interest in learning foreign language ;

to teach to work in groups cooperatively .

Methods : interactive methods , brain storming , group work , individual work , asking and answering questions , reflection , etc.

Equipment : an interactive board , cards , pictures , poster.

Type of the lesson : mixed lesson.

Connection with other subjects: Kazakh , sport .

The procedure of the lesson.

Organization moment :

Good morning , pupils! I am glad to see you. Sit down please .

Who is on duty today ? Who is absent today ? What day and date is it today?

What is the weather like today ? Let’s begin our lesson .

IV . New lesson . Dear pupils, the theme of our lesson is “ Life in Britain” . Today we are speaking about the life , food , sport and other activities in different countries . At first we’ll divide into two groups .The first group is “ Food ” and the second group is “ Sport ” . We have many different tasks and for your answers you’ll get cards with marks . You’ll get blue marks , if your answer is excellent , yellow is good , brown is satisfactory . 1.Vocabulary .New words . Listen attentively and repeat after me.
