reconstruct a story from pictures using most learned vocabulary

use regular and irregular action verbs in the past simple

talk about their own stories using the subject-specific vocabulary

(W) Greeting. Introducing the topic of the lesson, learning and lesson objectives

(I) Grammar practice (Homework)

1. Teacher asks learners to stand up and make a circle. Then explains that they need to say the verbs that are in the whiteboard in the past simple (and make sentences if they can) when they take the yarn.

Teacher introduces new theme and asks learners to match the words with pictures

After matching teacher checks the answers and if there is a mistake explains the meaning of words and corrects mistakes. Asks learners to write down new words on their vocabulary.

(P) Practice

Completing sentences in the past simple using new vocabulary. Learners should complete the sentences and say the verbs in past simple. Teacher monitors and if necessary helps them with verbs.
