PRE-LEARNING

IW. Ask the pupils to tell you two things they have in their rooms. E.g. Teacher: What’s in your room?

Pupil 1: An armchair and a lamp.

Play the CD.

The pupils listen to the song. Divide the pupils into two groups and assign a verse to each group. Play the song again and encourage the groups to sing the designated verses.

GW. Students get colouring sheets with the furniture. E.g.: 3-4 chairs, bed, TV-set, table, desk, computer, book shelves, 2 windows and etc. The task is to colour the pictures and make a poster “My dream house (room)”.

Each student of the groups have to describe their rooms, naming the furniture, using numbers and colours of them. Also using the structure There is .../ there are...
