Theme of the lesson: Look at the map.

The aims of the lesson:

Educational: To enlarge pupil’s vocabulary, to pay attention to their pronunciation;

Practical: to develop pupil’s skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking speech;

Cultural: to develop the interest to English language, to teach pupils to respect each other and the culture of another nations, to bring up theme to love English language and family, to teach to value relations.

I divide you into three groups. What colour do you prefer?

Who take red circle please, take a seat in first table.

Who take green circle, take a seat in second table.

Who take yellow circle, take a seat in third table.

First group is Adjective, second group Comparative, third group Superlative.

-Who is absent?

-What date is it today?

-Today is the 6th of February

-What day is it today?

-Today is the Wednesday

-What is the weather like today?

-The weather is ….. today.

One syllable adjectives generally form the comparative by adding –er and the superlative by adding –est.
