Organizational moment. Greetings

Warm up. every learner sit in a circle around teacher and using the method “Question Catch” teacher throw a ball to each learner. Teacher reviews questions from previous lesson and introduce new questions. Learners focus on topic, open up creative thinking and think in target language

Teacher asks questions like:

-What is your name?

-How are you?

-Where are you from?

⃰-What do you like to wear?

-Do you like wearing a cap?

-What colour is your dress?

Pre-learning.

Learners watch a video about clothes and pay attention to the new words.

Teacher introduces new theme. The theme of the lesson-My clothes and things.

Vocabulary. Teacher reads new words from the board and translate them. After explaining teacher reads the words once more and learners repeat after her.

Task 1. Matching game. Teacher puts pictures with items of clothes to the board. Learners find and match the name of the clothes.

Teacher introduces grammar.

The adjective is an independent part of the speech and answers to the questions: What kind? Which one? How many?

In order to practice the grammar learners give their own sentences like:

Examples: My dress is red

My T-shirt is green

My boots are blue

Task 2.

Using the method “Read and Find” teacher gives a text about clothes. Learners read the text, define and underline the name of clothes , write under the picture. Describe the clothes colours and tell what clothes they like.

According to this task pupils develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills.

My favourite clothes are jeans, T-shirt and a hat. I always choose my clothes by myself. I buy new clothes every three month. I like wearing dress or skirts for birthday parties. My favourite skirt’s colour is red

Task 3

Individual work. Using the method “Catch the word” teacher gives learners sheets of paper with tasks. Learners do tasks according teacher’s instruction.

Learners colour the clothing items. They should prepare pencils ( red, yellow, blue) and listen carefully.

Teacher reads instructions:

Color the shirt red.

Color the dress yellow

Color the socks blue

According to this task pupils develop their features such as: -independent learning, - creating and designing
