Beginning lesson

Write the words of the items from the previous lesson on the board. Ask the pupils to look at the words for one minute before they close their eyes. Erase a word. Ask the pupils to open their eyes and say which word is missing. Repeat with some more words.

Pupils’ books open. Elicit the school items in the pictures. Explain the activity. Allow the pupils some time to complete the activity. Check the pupils’ answers.

Explain the activity. Allow the pupils some time to look at the picture in Ex. 12 again and complete the activity. Check the pupils’ answers.

Step 3 Bookmarks

Tell the pupils that they are going to make a bookmark. Hand out the photocopies. Guide them through the cutting and colouring of the bookmarks. Go around the classroom providing any necessary help. While the pupils are doing the craftwork, feel free to play any song from the module. Make sure you display their work somewhere in the classroom.
