Warm-up activity. Active strategy “Hot chocolate river”. Guessing the theme of the lesson and group division. Students are divided into groups according to the broken letters of the words : SUN-N-Y, RA-I-NY, CLOU-D-Y.

Activity 1. Reading. “Skimming”. “Read and tick” . Read the text and identify the main idea of the text Pre-reading. Eliciting technique. Eliciting the vocabulary. Seasons argue. Once upon a time there Nature lived with its 4 children. There were seasons. All seasons moved around their mother. One day Summer, Spring, Winter and Autumn argued who was the best season of them. Summer said: “I am the hottest season, that`s why people like me. During summer people can travel, see various sights and enjoy the nature! Spring replied: “I am the most beautiful season, because the nature awakens and everything is in blossom”. Winter replied: “I am the most interesting season, because children wait for me , to ski, skate, play snowballs and of course the most favourite holiday for all people is New Year.” Autumn said “I am the most colourful season of the year with red and yellow leaves. People gather harvest, there are lots of fruit and vegetables.”
