(D)Teacher demonstrates big/small using projected visual images. Teacher models: ‘It’s a big/small ...’ e.g.

It’s big chair. It’s a green chair.

Students make up sentences. Use adjectives: big, small, happy, sad, pink, yellow, etc.

Example: This is a big ball. This is a beautiful house.

(W)Teacher nominates a learner to say what projected image is.

(G)Each group is given some common objects [pen, pencil, book, bag]. These items are different sizes [big or small] and colours.

Look at the desk of your classmate and say what he/ she has got.

Example: He/She has got some pencils.

Learners take turns to be blindfolded and pull out a few objects and say what they are e.g. It’s a big pencil., It’s a small book. etc.
