Teacher asks children to look at the board and say what they can see. Children respond “a dog”, “a cat”, “a lion” etc. Teacher says: “Very good! Now children who know what are they?”, “They are animals”

Activity 1 A game “Missing out”

Teacher sticks on the board flash cards: tiger, elephant, crocodile, zebra, and monkey. Children should name them, firstly with support then themselves as fast as they can. Then teacher takes out the first card and children should name this card and others on the board. Teacher takes out the next card and children should name the first two cards and others. At the end children should call to memory and name all cards in right order.
