After watching the video teacher asks questions like:

-What can you see in this video?

-Is this video about fruits or vegetables?

Today we are going to learn about “My favourite fruit is……”. Teacher introduces new words using pictures. Then read the words from board, children listen carefully and repeat.

Teacher shows flashcards of fruits, at first slowly, then faster, after that very fast. Students must say the words by the rule.

DEMONSTRATION

Teach structures “What is your favourite …?” and “My favourite … is ~”

Sit everyone down to watch you. Take out the 5 picture fruit. Take one and say “Yummy! I like (apples)!”. Put it to your right side. Take another fruit and do the same. Next, take a picture and say “Yuk! I don’t like (melons)”. Put it to your left. Keep going with the rest of the fruit until you have some fruit (likes) on your right and some (dislikes) on your left.

Put the fruits picture and you like in front of you and say “I like apples, grapes, pineapples … etc.).And choose one…
