5 minutes

The teacher greets all the learners in the classroom and tries to create the positive learning atmosphere.

Pre-learning

Divide students into two groups with the first letter of each countries. U- USA, C- Canada.

Ask groups to write words depends to the topic of “Holiday” on the paper. Destination. Transport.” in 3 minute. Then they stick their lists of words on the board .Each group checks other groups’ words and counts how many words each group has written correctly. The group having more and right words is a winner.

Introduce the topic and the objectives of the lesson to students.

Ask students if they an example sounds producing by various types of transport. Explain that they will learn a transportation song for children.

Task 1

Differentiation by type of task.

Ask fast students to listen to a song and fill the vacancies. Slow students listen and finish the song with words below. Learners listen to the video twice. Then employ students with the lyrics of the song and ask students to check their learners’ work. Evaluate how learners are able to get specific information from the video.

Task2. Activity. VOCABULARY work. Differentiation through task.

‘‘Hot chair’’ Teacher asks a learner sit the chair and answer the questions, translate the vocabulary.

Ask students what would be if there were no types of transport in the world. Students are predictable to give different imaginative responses. Elicit the ways of getting to school in this case. Ask them how they get to school.

Differentiation through supportEmendation the vocabulary by making a mind map in a pair. High level learner’s make a mind map on the words go by …; take/catch …slow level learner’s make a mind map only vocabulary the words and pronunciation.

Let us recall the other transport words they can use: go by bike or cycle/ride (from the transportation song);

go by car or drive;

go on foot or walk;

give somebody a lift to… or drive somebody to…
