First of all I want you to take cards with rebuses. Solve the rebuses. (students find: piano, rock and pop).

Teacher ask what is the theme. Students answer: music.

Teacher shows pictures of musical instruments and students name what in

the pictures is.

Listen to the music and find what musical instrument is it? (guitar, accordion, flute, guitar, dombyra, piano, drums, saxaphone)

Teacher divides students into 3 groups through choosing pictures:

1-group: Rock group;

2-group: Pop group;

3-group: Dance group

Read the text: 1-group:

Music is very important in our life. We can not live without music. People listen to music when they are happy or when they are unhappy. It helps them in their everyday life. Nowadays many people enjoy music as their hobby.

People listen to the music everywhere: at home, in the bus, in the street, in the shops, on television and over radio. They listen to music, they dance to music, they learn to play musical instruments.

There are so many kinds of music in our life. For example, rap and pop music, rock and alternative music, industrial and disco music, drum & bass and techno music, and, of course, classic music. Different people like different music.

Activity4. Questions-answers: Teacher and students ask to each other questions and answer. For every right answer teacher gives notes, than count the smiles and divides students into 3 groups: most smiles – 1-group, more smiles – 2-group, few smiles – 3-group. Than teacher gives different tasks to the groups.
